To designate a system supervisor in DT Max, select Security system from the Preferences menu, then select Individual users' passwords and rights....

If the person you want to designate as system supervisor is already registered as a user, double-click their user ID. Otherwise, click Add a new user.

Enter that person's name, user ID (if not already entered) and a password. The user ID is assigned by the firm. The supervisor will be responsible for assigning all further user ID's in the system, but passwords can be changed by users themselves at any time.

The System supervisor box must be checked in order to grant the system supervisor universal rights in DT Max. For this person, you will then see all the other boxes greyed out and checked. This indicates that this person has full rights which cannot be removed from them.

In the security system user list, system supervisors have an asterisk (*) next to their names.
